Positions

Legal Secretary

Base Pay: 20K -25K Depending on Experience and Education

Benefits: Pension Plan, Healthcare & assorted supplemental insurances

Employee Type: Full Time

Industry: State Government – Criminal Prosecution. THIS IS AN AT WILL POSITION

Education: 4 year degree preferred, but not mandatory. A Paralegal degree is a plus.

Experience: Legal secretarial experience preferred, some secretarial experience required.

Requirements: A completed State of Florida Job Application, valid Florida driver’s license,negative drug test, type 40 wpm and clean background check.

Description: An applicant should possess knowledge of legal terminology and be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. You will be ready to work as part of a team and also be capable of independent judgment. You will be responsible for a wide variety of office duties including: maintaining files, setting meetings, processing a high volume of mail, and addressing any attorney requests. An applicant must be able to prioritize, work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.

Victim Witness Coordinator

Base Pay: 20K -25K Depending on Experience and Education

Industry: State Government – Criminal Prosecution THIS IS AN AT WILL POSITION

Education: 4 year degree preferred, but not mandatory. Counseling or an intrapersonal

communication background is a plus.

Experience: Legal experience preferred, some administrative experience required.

Requirements: A completed State of Florida Job Application, valid Florida driver’s license,negative drug test, type 40 wpm and clean background check.

Description: An applicant should possess knowledge of legal terminology and be able to communicate clearly and concisely. You will be ready to work as part of a team and also be capable of independent judgment. You will be responsible for a wide variety of office duties including but not limited to: communicating case related information, coordinating trials, maintaining accurate data entry and addressing any attorney requests. An applicant must be able to prioritize, work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
